Any attempt by any entrant to use an automated system or to obtain more than one (1) entry by using multiple/different e-mail addresses, identities or any other methods, will void all of that entrant's entries and render that person ineligible to receive any of the prizes. Sponsor may require that the potential winner provide proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail and/or password associated with the winning entry. 3. ELIGIBILITY: You must be at least 21 years old and a legal resident of the U.S. to be eligible. This promotion void in California and wherever prohibited or restricted by law. Employees of Brown-Forman Beverages, their affiliates, liquor wholesale licensees, retailers, as well as the advertising/promotion agency, and the immediate families and household members of each are not eligible to win.
4. PRIZE: One (1) Trip Prize. Includes a trip for two to North Carolina's Lake Norman on 6/19/09, including roundtrip coach airfare for two, lodging (double occupancy) for two nights at hotel of Sponsor's choice and ground transportation to and from North Carolina's Lake Norman. Location and fishing dates subject to change. Winner must be able to fish at an alternative location and/or on an alternative date or else waive the prize. Potential Trip Prize winner fishes with Kevin Wirth on 6/20/09 for a predetermined amount of time as determined by Sponsor and will receive a custom rod and reel. (Estimated value $3,000.) The Trip Prize winner or Kevin Wirth must catch a specially tagged fish within the designated time period according to the additional Fishing Prize rules** and requirements that will be provided prior to accepting the potential Trip Prize to be eligible for a Fishing Prize. If potential Trip Prize winner does not agree to the additional rules of "Fishing Prize" contest, he/she will forfeit Trip Prize and an alternate winner may be selected. Potential Fishing Prizes include: One Grand Prize: $1,000,000 (20-year annuity).* One First Prize: a Triton Bass Boat - The VT 17 with a Mercury 60 EFI FourStroke motor and trailer (ARV $18,595). 5. DRAWING: Potential Trip Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all timely received eligible entries. The drawing will be held on or about 4/10/09 and will be conducted by Brown-Forman whose decisions concerning all aspects of this promotion shall be final. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received.
6. CLAIMING PRIZE/RELEASE: The potential Trip Prize winner will be notified by phone or mail on or about 4/17/09. A potential Trip Prize winner may be required to claim his or her prize within 5 days of notification by signing before a notary and returning to the address stated in the notification an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release. If the notarized Affidavit and Release are not returned within 5 days of notification, the winner will have waived any claim to the prize and an alternate winner may be selected. If winner cannot travel on dates defined, he/she must forfeit the Trip Prize and an alternate winner may be selected. By accepting his or her prize, the Trip Prize winner: (a) releases Brown-Forman, Early Times, and their affiliated companies and licensed alcohol wholesalers and retailers from any and all liability claims, actions or proceedings arising out of or for injuries or damages sustained while involved in a promotion activity or in connection with the use of the prizes; as well as (b) consents to the use by Brown-Forman for promotional purposes in connection with this promotion, of his or her name and/or likeness and/or voice without further compensation, (c) agrees to review and agree to the Fishing Prize rules and regulations. Any traveling companion of a prizewinner must be at least 21 years old and must also execute a Liability/Publicity Release prior to participation in any trip. Traveling companion is not eligible for any fish prize(s).
7. WINNER: For the name of the prizewinner, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to Early Times Reel In One Million Dollars Winner, P.O. Box 750992, Offer 300WN403, El Paso, TX 88575-0992. DO NOT send sweepstakes entries to this address.
*Payable in twenty (20) equal annual installments of $50,000 each, without interest. Winner must agree that taxes will be collected from each annual installment.
**The "fishing prize rules" are as follows:
1. Winner must be able to travel to North Carolina the morning of Friday, 6/19 and return home on Sunday, 6/21.
2. Winner must fish with Kevin Wirth on Saturday 6/20 from 9AM to 4PM on Lake Norman.
3. Winner must conduct him/herself and fish in a sportsmanlike manner in accordance with all North Carolina State and Federal Fishing and Wildlife regulations. Specified fish must be caught in accordance with all state and federal laws and in a manner otherwise prescribed herein.
4. Winning fish must be caught by an eligible angler.
5. All fish with tags caught should be brought to shore with tag still intact.
6. In event of a claim, winner must make him/herself accessible to contest officials who must submit to pass in a conclusive manner, a polygraph examination if, in contest official's opinion, such action is warranted.
7. If the event is cancelled due to weather, the fishing trip will be rescheduled to take place within 90 days at a date selected by sponsor. |
